You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.
You have received a letter from your bank, asking you to acknowledge receipt of a new bank card. However, the card was missing from the envelope.
Write a letter to the bank's head office. In your letter:
explain why you are writing
express concern about the missing card
ask them what they intend to do
You do NOT need to write your own address.
Begin your letter as:
Dear Sir or Madam,
You should write at least 150 words.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to you with respect to my concerns about the new bank card which was lost in transit. I am under assumption that the card has been stolen or something similar has happened.
I have never experienced such kind of issues with the bank before, and would like to know the details of what went wrong. Despite, the bank having topnotch security and delivery systems, the occurring of such problems is quite disappointing and slightly scaring.
Nevertheless, I intend to know what action will be taken from the bank's side to retrieve the card, is it going to be blocked staright away or a new card will be issued. However if a new card is being issued, I will be collecting it from the bank this time to avoid any such nuisances in the future.
Kindly request you to take appropriate action and looking forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully,
Marie Lee
