You should spend about 20 minutes on this task. The line graph shows London Underground station passengers. Summarise the information by selecting and report in the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. Write at least 150 words.
The graph illustrates the fluctuation in the number of commuters during a given day at the London Underground Station.
Overall, while the morning and the afternoon shares a similar trend, as both are the most crowded period in the day, it could be said otherwise for noon and the evening.
There is a comparable growth in commuters during the two periods of rush hours, respectively, from 6:00 am - 08:00 am and 16:00 am - 6:00 pm. Both periods peak at around 400 passengers, but the number of passengers in the afternoon is slightly less than that of the morning. The resemblance continues to two hours later, as they both show a substantial plunge after the time mentioned above, as only just over 100 passengers were observed at 8:00 pm.
From 11:00 am - 2:00 pm, the data shows a spike at noon and steadily plateaus at just below 300, later to drastically plummet to only 80 passengers at 4:00 pm. In the evening, we can see that it's the least active period compares to others, as the number of people using the London Underground Station fluctuates at around the mark of 150 from 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm.
