The map shows changes between 1960 and now in Station Street.
The provided map delineates the adjustments of Station street from 1960 to today.
Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the street station now has fewer stores than the street station in 1960.
In 1960, there was a total of 8 different kinds of stores on Station Street. The pharmacy was located on the left of the map, following it were butcher, toy, book store, bakery, DVD rental store, and fish and chips shop respectively. By contrast, the pharmacy place has been replaced by the parking and the fish and chips store location has turned into the cafe shop. Between parking and a cafe shop is a large supermarket. The grocery position, which was located at the left bottom of the map in 1960, has been replaced by a hotel and the public telephones have been demolished to enlarge the railway station area. The dry cleaner’s shop, as well as the station street, are remained stable over the period.
