important for the growth of a child. The pie chart in this task illustrates participation in different activities such as leisure and cultural activities of children. The left and right figures are differentiated by gender where the left one belongs to boys and the right one belong to the girls.
From both the figures we have found out that only boys participate in basketball whereas dancing is reserved for girls only. Then we also got to know that from these figures is that reading more popular with girls and on the contrary, boys are mostly involved with computer games. Lastly from the figures we have analyzed that Outdoor games like soccer and skateboarding are completely boy centric but gymnastics and netball are reserved to girls only.
Firstly, from the figure we have depicted that basketball is very popular with boys and that is why a staggering 26% of boys spend their leisure time using this activity. On the contrary, girls love to dance and for that reason around 27% of them spend time using this.
Secondly, girls are very keen in reading and as a result, 21% of them uses their leisure time doing this but boys are not much fond of because 2% of them use their off time for this. But a completely contrasting picture can be found in terms computer games since the popularity of it is more than double (34-16%) for boys compared to the girls.
Lastly in boys and girls have different taste in choice in terms of outdoor games. Boys mostly participate in football and skateboard having total percentage of 28% whereas girls are mainly involved in Gymnastics and Netball since in total 26% of them spend their leisure time for this.
