Map of a City in 1950
The map illustrates the differences of a city from 1950 and today. As we can see, the population geographic of the city in 1950 was 20,000 which is escalated to 200,000 now.
Overall, the most important changes in the city were the expanded residential area, the business district and a new lake at the centre of the city. A new dam was built in the east region too.
Firstly, in 1950 almost the same space was occupied for the business district and residential area. Similarly, a small government building is situated near the bridge and right side of the main road. The main road was connected from south to north and east to west which is joining at the centre of the business district. Moreover, in the southwest region, there was an airport which is in between the river and main road.
However, today a noticeable modification is based on the river which is joining to a new lake and the old bridge comes over the lake to attach both the large business district and the vast residential area. Furthermore, near the dam, there is a new bridge which is joining from the main road comes from the west and attached to the old road in east. In addition, they extended the size of the airport and a new government building in the south of the city.
