Overall, people are more likely to expend on other spending. Meanwhile, the most populated area is Asia, but America and Europe consume the most amount of resources.
As per data, the proportion of other spending globally breaks a record as the highest in the whole world at two fifths, followed by that of food at almost a quarter. Furthermore, the allocation of transport in the world accounts for less than one in ten, while that of housing makes up twofold than that of clothing at only 6%.
Regarding the persons, the vast majority of global population live in Asia, showing almost three fifths, and Africans are only one in ten, then people from other region is merely a half of the latter. Totally, the figure for resource use of three aforementioned area takes account two fifths. When it comes to Europe and America, both areas share similar rate of population at 14%, consuming three fifths of resources, globally.
