The graph below shows the number of enquiries received by the tourist Information Office in one city over a six-month period in 2011.
The line graph depicts the amount of questions people asked the Tourist Information Office in 2011 and categorized the result by the channels in which they arrived.
Overall, all channels reported an increase, except a fall in mailing. Furthermore, in the first three months, there were not any big differences until March. From that point, considerable changes started to happen, with the channel of asking in-person showing the most significant growth over time.
In terms of inquiries asked in person, the figure began the period at the lowest point of the three at just over 400 and had doubled by March, after which it escalated, reaching its peak at roughly 1900. Similarly, although fluctuating at first, phoning also peaked at the end of the period with approximately 1600.
On the other hand, despite being a close second at the start, it was not until March that letter sending and mailing started to decrease, especially steep between March and May, hitting its low and leveling off at just below 400 in the end.
