You live in an area where the local council has made some changes to regulations. You believe these changes are not good for residents. Write a letter to a councillor.
In your letter: Introduce yourself. Describe the problem. Say what you think the council should do about the situation.
Dear Sir,
Greetings of the day! I, Jenny jackson, a resident of Rosemary Avenue, Brampton, am writing this letter in order to request to reconsider some of the developments occurring in our vicinity.
At the onset, let me brief you on the specifics of my plea. First of all, as I am the football coach, I have been teaching many of the children of all age groups in this playground for five years. Moreover, we also won the intercity football match held last month in Brantford.
Further, there is no doubt that the recent changes have indeed turned fruitful in the locality. Although I appreciate the improvements, the plans for building the library in the northern part of the city by taking over the space of the football ground are putting most of the children and individuals in deep distress. As this place is a dream to achieve the aim of becoming a great footballer for many young aspirants, they are feeling demotivated now. Thus, I am seeking your support to make the needed alterations.
Finally, I would like to add to your knowledge that this kind of concern can be solved. please reconsider the western side of the city as the majority of the educational institutions are there. Additionally, as the location is accessible for most of the students and natives with ease and the traffic congestion is also low, I will be thankful if you please consider my plight and rethink your decision.
I would be grateful if you could please look into this matter.
With regards,
Jenny jackson
