The charts show what Australian school leavers did immediately after leaving secondary school. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The given table compares the number of upper secondary school graduates’ applications to several colleges of a comprehensive university.
Overall, over time, Law, Information Technology, and Finance and Banking got more enrollers. In addition, Education was the only college having a minimal difference gap.
Information Technology and Finance and Banking both witnessed a progressive increase in their enrolments. However, the latter figure grew at a faster rate, greatly doubling its initial one (from 1,120 in 2014-2015 to 2,640 in 2017-2018). Likewise, a similar trend can also be seen in Law, which rose continuously from 1,560 to 2,218, despite a plummet to 1,483 in 2016-2017.
Although Medicine and Education were among the colleges attracting the highest enrollers in the first academic years, their figures became among the top lowest enrolment rate in the final time course. Regarding Medicine, there was a 300-applicant drop compared to the number 2,566 in 2014-2015. Education, on the other hand, saw its number of applications hovering around 2,385 over four academic years.
