Given is a graph depicting the sales by million dollars of three distinctive types of book: children's, adult fiction and educational in the four-year period stemmed from 2002.
From an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the amount of money earned from children's book changed dramatically over 4 years. Meanwhile, the figure for educational books fluctuated inconsiderably and was the category that had the lowest income.
Considering the line graph more closely, we can obtain that in the year 2002, more than 3 million dollars was acquired by selling books for infants and students, which ranked the second among the three aforementioned book types. However, after a year, this data rose quickly by $10 millions and surpassed that of adult fiction. After 2003, the amount of sales of children's book witnessed a jump to nearly 60 million dollars in 2006 with the maintenance of the first place comparing to other two categories.
It is also worth noting that approximately 45 million dollars was the sales that adult fiction books gained in 2002, which was the largest amount of income in that year. Nevertheless, the indicator of adult fiction dropped to merely 40 million dollars in the next year and lost its first place. Furthermore, this data experienced a slight increase with exactly $40000000 in 2004, yet in the rest of the period, the gap between the figure for adult fiction and that of children's book was widened by the significant decrease of fiction books for older people with 30 million dollars in 2006 to be the book type with least earning. Additionally, from 2002 to 2005, the indicator of books for learners fluctuated lightly and stayed still with about 25 million dollars in 3 years commencing from 2002. In the year 2006, the amount of sales get by educational books suffered from an increase to reach more than 30 million dollars and surpassed that of adult fiction.
