Some people think that we should invent a new language for international communication. do benefits of this outweigh the problems
To overcome the obstacles of communication worldwide, a new globally recognized language is needed, which has led a group of people to invent one. While there are some negative consequences of this development, I would argue that these are outweighed by the advantages.
On the one hand, there are numerous benefits to acquiring knowledge of a new language. Firstly, it can overcome the challenges of building networks around the world. As technologies advance, exchanging information, ideas, and research with others becomes essential. For example, when the COVID-19 vaccine was developed by a German company, they disseminated the formula and vaccine to all countries, both poor and rich. Without proper networking and communication, this would not have been possible. In this case, learning a new language is necessary. Secondly, learning a new language creates the opportunity to gain deep knowledge about new cultures and traditions. This can foster geographical and cultural understanding. Moreover, to study abroad, a new globally recognized language is essential for communication between students and teachers. Nowadays, different language assessment exams are conducted to evaluate language proficiency.
On the other hand, there are diverse languages available in different countries. A single language may not be sufficient to communicate and fully understand various cultures and traditions. Additionally, it is very arduous and time-consuming to master the vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation of a foreign language.
In conclusion, inventing a new language for global communication is highly effective. Although the task is laborious, it can bring success in various ways and enhance numerous abilities, which outweigh its drawbacks. I believe every person should learn at least one foreign language.
