the graph below shows the number of enquiries received by Tourist Information Office in one city a six-month period in 2011

The line graph compares the information about the quantity of enquiries received by the Tourist Information Office in particular city during a six-month period in 2011.

Overall, while the number of in person and by letter or email enquiries experienced a significant increase, there was a remarkable plummet in the quantity of enquiries over the timescale period. Additionally, in person enquiries was the most common choice among three option at the end of this given period.

Tourist Information Office received approximately 900 enquiries by telephone in January, which was the highest quantity, and the number of these enquiries was over twice that of enquiries received by in person. This figure then saw a slight fall and came to the lowest point in February, at exactly 800 enquiries, followed by an exponential growth of precisely 1400 enquiries in June. Likewise, the number of enquiries made via telephone was the lowest figure in January, at under 400 enquiries, this figure continued skyrocket and then dethroned the figure for in person enquiries in April, before ending to about 1900 enquiries.

By contrast, tourist would not rather send enquiries by letter or email and hence it observed an opposite trend compared to the two counterpart. Starting at below 800 enquiries in January, the figure for written enquiries was the second only common option. However, there was a noticeable decline in the quantity of these enquiries, before reach the lowest point at under 400 enquiries at the end of the given period.
