Overall, it is clear that internet was used primarily for emailing by both males and females in almost equal proportion.
Gaming was mostly favoured by men who used internet twice as much as females for this purpose at figures slightly shy of 40 and 20 percent respectively.Women were more likely to use internet for buying online at 60% which was the second most popular use amongst them after emailing. Banking was equally employed by two-fifth of both males and females.
Although ladies used internet more than twice as that by men for personal medical research, this including selling online were the least popular activities done online.
