Professional fame and success greatly depends on the ability of the person to carryout remarkable activities. For instance: there is a recently graduated boy who wants to persue his career in the field of government, it is always wise to see him do things before praising as it favors both the parties.
Nowadays, first impression hardly last: people masquerade themselves and present in the highest form of themselves. Most mask fades sooner than expected, as soon as, they start gaining the trust. It’s tricky to have faith in people we barely know, so seeing their work is the best indicator that resolves the ongoing skepticism of whether or not to trust them. Tactic is one of the quintessence of leaders which help them to excel in their respected field. It is detrimental to praise the new leaders even before they start doing their job because sometimes, the obsequious might impede their actual capacity and make them more of themselves than the services they are intended to perform.
