People who make decisions based on emotion and justify those decisions with logic afterwards are poor decision makers

Essay topics:

People who make decisions based on emotion and justify those decisions with logic afterwards are poor decision makers.

All the decision should be made after thinking carefully and
slowly. No important decision should be taken on the spot
or in a hast. People who make decision based on the
emotion and feeling usually regret the decision in the
future. If the decision taken by them causes some problem
in the future, they try to justify the decision with logic
which is not right. These type of the people are poor
decison maker.

There are many ways to prove the claim that the people
who make decision based on the emotion are poor decision
makers. Lets say in a office two person got a bonus. They
both will be on seventh heaven on hearing the news.
Person A, rapidly spend the bonus on liabilities like a fancy
new sports car, watch or a new phone, instead of buying
assets. Whereas, person B took some time to think where
he should invest the money or how he should spend it. In
the longer run the person B would be more profitable as he
idn't took a rash decison compare to person A.

We could understand the point made by the author with a
help of another example. If there Is fight between two
person lets say between two friends or two business patner
or between two family members and if in the heat of
argument some decission are made than there is a high
probability that decision would be a wrong. During the
argument between two friends, if one says that they would
never talk with one another, than it because of the of this
rash decision a good friendship would break. If a argument
is between two business patner and they decides to spilt
the business than it would be loss of the overall business
as they both would become a competitor of each other and
both will face losses. If the argument is between the family
members ad they decided to never talk with each other
than this breaks up a family and it is very emotional on
other family member.

I am not saying that imediate decision should not be taken.
There are times in life where we need to take decision on
the spot like in hosipitals where doctors have to take
decision very fast including the family member. In sports
cpatian of a team, in share market to decide which stock to
sell. I am just saying that the decision should not be made
in emotion.

It is said that the decision should never be made when a
person is happy, sad, angry, excited beacuse the decision
that are made during this time are related to the present
feeling which a person is feeling. Usually when a person is.
feeling these type of emotion his thinking power is affected
and the person Is not able to think propely. A person
should always keep their mind cool and make a decision
considering all the aspect. This makes them acumen in
their decision.
