The figure elucidates the number of two nations’ expenditure on consumer goods in 2010. At first glance, it is evident that the UK has a higher score in expenditure on consumer goods for three different aspects rather than France.
To begin with France, the total of expenditure of France on customer goods is higher in computers and perfume, which made up approximately 375.000 for computers and two times of 100.000 for perfume. In other sector such as cars, books and cameras, it has lower number in which it constituted at four-tenths of 1.000.000, a third of 900.000 and three times of 50.000 respectively.
In contrast, the UK has the highest number in cars, books and cameras, which accounted for just above nine-tenths of 500.000 for cars, just over a half of 800.000 for books and well under 350.000 for cameras. Nevertheless, it solely has lower number for the other two aspects in which it was roughly at seven-tenths of 500.000 for computers and just beneath 150.000 for perfume.
