Overall ,the highest percentage of adults who were overweight or obese increased steadily from 1965 to 2015 and that the highest percentage is in the adults who were obese and the lowest percentage is in the adults who were severely obese.
The percentage of adults who were overweight or obese rose slightly, from 46% in 1965 to 47% in 1975 and stayed constant at 47% between 1975 and 1985. The increase was greatest in 1985, from about 47% in 1985 to 59% in 1995. There was a rising trend from 1995 onwards and the highest was 73% in 2015
The pie chart compares that adults who were obese were more popular than all the others, at 34%. The adults who were overweight at 31% and healthy or underweight at 29%. The adults who were severely obese at 6%
