The chart below gives information on the percentage of British people giving money to charity by age range for the years 1990 and 2010.

The bar chart illustrates how much people in Britain spent on donating to charity among ages in 1990 and 2010. Overall, the most significant feature on this diagram is the highest percent belong to 36-50 aged group throughout these years.
Taking a look at the diagram in more details, just over 15% of 18-to-25-year-old young British people gave money to non-profit organizations in 1990 but this percentage experienced a sharp decrease by nearly 10% in the next 20 years. Likewise, the proportion of people in Britain ranged from 26 to 35 dropped minimally with 30% and 24% in 1990 and 2010 respectively.
Turning to the other age groups, it can be seen from the chart that the percentage of over 36-year-old people accounted for more than one third. To explain this, middle-aged group peaked at 0.4 in 1990 that was the highest percent among years and age groups. Additionally, people aged from 51 to over 65 made up one third in both 1990 and 2010 with the peak at just under 40% in 2010.
