Essay topics:

The chart below shows the number of men and women in further education in Britain in three periods and whether they were studying fulltime or part-time.

The change in the number of males and females taking either full-time and part-time further education in the UK from 1970 to 1991 is displayed in the bar chart, shown in percentage.
Overall, the vast majority of British were more likely to choose full-time education in both men and women than the counterpart. Furthermore, the number of male and female students increased considerably, except males studying full-time.
Initially, there were a million of men choosing full-time education, being higher than more or less 800,000 women taking this. However, only the minority of both sexes was less excited to be part-time students, with the number at below a hundred thousand.
Eventually, although the figure for men who received full-time higher education were observed to decrease to around 850,000 in 1980/81, it recovered to be about 950,000. Meanwhile, an interest was seen on women, with the number of them inclining sustainably to exceed that of men in the initial year. Simultaneously, both females and males registered to study part-time were seen to increase, but those were approximately 200,000 students, respectively.
