the chart below shows the percentage of household is owned and rented accommodation in England and Wales between 1918 and 2011.
summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The bar chart below highlights a clear figure to compare between bought and rented occupied tenants in a period of almost a century from 1918 and 2011.

Overall, the chart has the time scale per years on the horizontal x-axis, while the vertical y-axis represents the percentage with a 10 percent intervals. However, it’s obvious that a dramatically increase in buying houses started by the late end of the century, while at the same time there was a significant decrease in renting direction.

The bar chart demonstrates that by beginning of the century, around 20 percent of occupants preferred to get their own property, while there was a rocket start for the renting option by the same year to reach approximately 80 percent. Whereas, at the middle year represented in chart, an equal properties usage has been presented 50/50 for buying and renting respectively.

Also, it is clearly illustrated, that by the time the occupants had the same figure of two occupying options, within a twenty year after, there was almost the double number goes for buying option instead of renting. However, buying and renting kept fluctuating, but the former took a steady increase, while the former option reached almost near its lowest digit by the end of time scale on 2011.
