The chart below shows that the total number of minutes (in billions) of telephone calls in the UK, divided into three categories, from 1995-2002.
A glance at the bar graph provided reveals the spent time via phone calls measured by minutes, classified into three forms including local, national and international, and mobiles, in Britain between 1995 and 2002. Overall, local form indicates a constant trend although it has experienced some fluctuations. Both national and international and mobiles types display upward trends. In spite of that local form had a steady trend, it was still higher than two columns else. It reached the maximum number of the graph, as well. While mobiles show a steady increase and experienced a jump in the second half of the period, it was the minimum of time in the graph.
To put into perspective, the local type stood at 70 minutes in 1995 and kept the growth, hit the highest point at 90 minutes in 1999. Then, it began to decline gradually, lower than 75 minutes in 2002. The national and international types started from 30 minutes by approximate in 1995 and had a gentle increase in constant, reached a peak higher than 60 in 2002. Mobiles kinds were the minimum of the graph around 3 minutes in 1995 and reached a peak of about 45 minutes in 2002.
There is no doubt that in the first half of the period, there is a widening gulf between the three forms of telephone calls. To elaborate, there was a difference about 75 minutes between local and international, between international and mobiles were almost 35 minutes, and between local and mobiles was around 70 in 1995. The discrepancy between local and international maximized about 50 minutes, then it comes to least after 2000, 10 minutes in 2002 finally. Also, the distinction between international and mobiles decreased, 25 minutes in 2002 eventually.
