The given bar chart illustrates the highest and lowest amount on average of distinct contaminants in the air on a daily basis of 4 different cities in 2000.
Overall, Mexico City always had larger amount of air contaminants compared to other 3 metropolises while the last place belonged to Los Angeles and Beijing in terms of SO2 and N2O, respectively.
The amount of SO2 in Calcutta fluctuated between 47 and 59 on average everyday while the figure for Beijing witnessed a higher gap of 75 with highest level stood at 100, almost doubled that of Calcutta. In addition, the N2O concentrations in atmosphere of Beijing and Calcutta were equal at around 50 as highest amount while the minimum number of Beijing was at 14, just a half of Calcutta’s data.
The figures for Mexico City was always highest amongst four places with highest statistics doubling lowest ones, 200 and 80 in term of SO2 and 207 and 113 presenting N2O, respectively. On the other hand, Los Angeles has considerably small levels of SO2 being at only 2 micrograms per m3 as least and 10 as maximum level.
