Essay topics:

The chart shows the percentage of women and men in one Asian country who passed when they took their driving test between 1980 and 2010.

The bar chart compares the proportion of men and women who passed their driving test in a country of Asia in a period of 30-year from 1980 to 2010.
Overall, the number of people who passed when they took their driving test increased over the period shown. However, the percentage of women passing the driving test outweighs the figure for men.
In 1980, nearly half of the women in the country passed the driving test while just more than a quarter of men passed the test's requirement. However, the figure for men grew faster than the figure for women during the next 10 years in which 51% of females and 37% of male passed the test in 1990.
10 years later, the proportion of females passing the driving test rose dramatically, reaching more than two-thirds in 2000 while the figure for male continued to increase moderately and stood at 49% in 2000. In 2010, the proportion of men passing the test's requirement remained stable while the figure for women witnessed a slight decline, by around 2% from 67% to 65%
