The chart shows the percentage of women and men in one Asian country who passed when they took their driving test between 1980 and 2010.

The bar chart illustrates the comparison of candidates by gender passing the driving tests in one Asian country over a 30-year period, starting from 1980.

It is clear that the proportion of female candidates passing the driving tests was higher than that of males and in the year 2000, the most women passed their test compared to other years.

In 1980, there was under 50% of women who passed the tests while that of men was under 30%. In the next 10 years, the percentage of women passing driving tests increased slightly to over a half before reaching the peak of nearly 70% in 2000. Finally, it returned to over three-fifths.

Over 20-year from 1980, the figure for males overcoming driving tests witnessed a gradual growth to approximately one haft in 2000 and remained unchanged at the end of the survey.
