The pie charts provide information about the proportion of water usage for several purposes, while the bar graph illustrates the amount of aquatic usage in various countries. Both were taken in the year 2000 and measured in percentages.
Overall, it is noticeable that the amount of water used was dominant for agriculture application, while Canada was high for industrial objectives and India for agricultural usage.
According to the pie charts, the water intake was high for agriculture purposes, which accounted for seven in ten, followed by industrial usage at nearly a quarter, more than three times higher than that of agriculture. Other than that, domestic purposes showed the least at just below one in ten, nearly three times lower than industrial intake.
Turning to the bar charts data, Canada and India showed the most water usage than other countries. Canada used 80% of water for industrial purposes, eight times higher than New Zealand for the same category. Furthermore, India also utilized almost 100% of water for agricultural needs, which was more than doubled compared to New Zealand at 44% . However, for domestic usage, New Zealand accounted at 46% of water being used, making New Zealand the highest among all countries.
