The bar chart and pie chart gives information about the reason why people travel and the main causes for public transport in the United States in 2009.
Overall, It is clear that the main reason why people in the United States traveled was to commute to and from work. In addition, the price of travel was the most significant issue for customers during the same year.
In 2009, the bar chart illustrates a significant of people nearly 49% travel to work compared to just 19% of private purposes and 16% travel to shopping. Nevertheless, moving to overtake friends or relatives reached the lowest percentage 6%, which was just nearly a half of that number of people spending time on traveling to social and take rest reasons.
At the same time, the proportion of people using public transport to travel by 36% which people just care about the costs. Just 19% and 17% the number of people caring about safety during traveling and aggressive drivers. Traffic jams in highways accounted for 14% of the main issues, followed by 8% of allowing the driver to use public transport to travel. The united states stood at 6% of taking care of the space of people jogging.
