Two bar charts compare how many people were affected by four sources of noise pollution in urban and rural areas during the daytime and nightime in the year 2007.
Overall, it is clear that more people in cities experienced from all sources of noise pollution compared with in countrysides in all time. Also, in both charts, traffic is the main type that caused noise pollution in both 2 places.
Daytime noise caused from traffic affected 64 million people in cities and 34 million people in countrysides. At night, these people in urban affected 48 million people, double with in rural. Noise pollution caused from train affected slightly more peole in both urban and rural areas, with in day 10 million people and 8 million people respectively. At night, 8 million people and 6 million people experienced in noise pollution from train.
In remaining two sources of noise pollution, there were less significant. During the daytime, the number of people in cities were affected by aircraft was 4 million, half this number in rural areas. At night, there was 1 million people in both 2 places. Moreover, people living in rural areas were not affected by industry. While, in urban areas, there was 1 million people in daytime, four times the number of people affected in rural areas in nightime.
