The charts show average levels of participation and the highest education level of adults from 2000 to 2010 in Singapore.
The average levels of participation in the education process and the highest education level of adults are shown in the charts below from 2000 till 2010.
In 2000, the average number of years spent at school, which ranges from 8 to 10 years is almost the same for both the adult males and the adult females, according to the graph, by the year 2010 the number of years for specifically men had risen by half, unlike the grown-ups’ women, it has not seen any drastically changes.
Turning to the highest education levels of adults, as we can all see in the pie chart, the university qualification level as well as the master qualification level went from one tenth to be slightly over the third of the percentage, in the case for primary school in 2000 it was one fourth of all levels and throughout the years it has decreased to be 2.1 percent.
Overall, it seems that there was a trend towards higher levels of education among adults during this period, particularly in terms of university-level qualifications. However, there may be some gender disparities in terms of access to education and opportunities for advancement, as the increase in education levels among men was more pronounced than among women.
