There are four main stages in the life cycle of the silkworm. Tje process is start from eggs and end to moth, and the production of silk cloth involves six steps, from silkworm cacoon to silkworm material.
In the first stageof lifecycle of the silkworm the moth lays the eggs. In ten days silkworm larvae hatch from the eggs, tjese larvae feed on mulberry laeves. Then, in four to six weeks larvae became covered in the silk thread, and it takes between three to eight for s full cacoon to be produced.
Apart from that, from the cloth production a cacoon is first selected and then boiled in water. After boiled, the silk thread that makes up the cacoon is unwounded, and than several stroned are twisted together. T the fifth and sixth stages in the process that tjreat can be either be dyed and then woven into silk fabric, on it can be woven first and then dyed subsequently.
