The diagrams below show the stages and equipment used in the cement- making process, and how cement is used to produce concrete for building purposes.
The two charts illustrate two main processes of manufacturing cement and utilizing it for architecture purposes.
Overall, it includes stages of production from cement, which are cement production and concrete production.
Initially, in the cement production, workers collect two main ingredients, such as limestone and clay, put in a crusher to blend it becoming powder. Then, it is delivered inside mixer leading to rotating heater in a long pipe with the fire on the opposite side of the mixer. After that, the powder is ground to become cement, which is ready to use and be packaged.
Turning to the concrete production, four main ingredients are added in a big mixer. These are cement, water, sand, and gravel, which is small stones, with exact proportions at 15%, 10%, 25% and 50% respectively. Consequently, When everything is inside the concrete mixer, the equipment will rotate them to mix well. As a result, the combination of these ingredients will be utilized for any building purposes.
