The first bar chart showed number of marriage and divorces in the USA and second bar chart produces maritial status of adult Americans, 1970 and 2000.

The bar chart compares the rate of getting into conjugal life and separating rate in USA and second bar chart gives information about maritial status of mature Americans between 1970 and 2000.

It is clearly evident that marriage rate always higher than separating rate and just after a decade both of them showed a downward trend. In the second chart marrige rate of twentyth was higher than twenty first century.

The marrige rate remained stable at 2.5 million from 1970 and 2000. However, divorce rate augmented by approximately 0.4 million during the first decade. Then both of these rate dwindled gradually by at about 0.5 million and 0.3 million respectively.

In the second chart, almost 12% adult Americans never married while this rate increased in 2000 and turned into 20%. A significant number of Americans married in these mentioned two years; 70% mature married in 1970 but marriage in 2000 diminish by at about 11%. Widowed rate were equivalent to 9% and 6% serially. The graph proved that divorce rate soared in America. 1% American get divorced in 1970 while these rate is lower than rate of 2000.
