Essay topics:

The given diagram gives information about the process of getting a driving license.

The diagram gives information about the process of obtaining a US driver’s license.

Overall, it is apparent that the shortest way to get one consists of seven steps including an eyesight test, the written theoretical examination, and practical driving examination.

The first thing people need to do is register at the driving license center to fill out the forms needed for the test. Test-takers then have their vision tested and only those who pass this medical exam can proceed to get a driving license. After that, examinees will continue the process by paying a fee to get into the written test.

If the written tests are passed, they can take the practice test and receive the driving license. For those applicants who performed poorly, they are allowed to have two retakes. Subsequently, if they cannot overcome this test in the third trial, they will have to pay the fee and start the written test again. Those who pass the previous test will take the final one which is the driving test. At this step, successful candidates can finally get their driving licenses. However, if they fail, they are still granted the license by paying the fee and reattempting both tests.
