Given is the line graph depicting contrasting the aggregate money spent by the US for multiple fields during the period of 28 years, commencing from the year 1980. Perceptibly, the expenditure for all of these categories surged over the 28-year period except for the other.
Regarding the total outlay of health and other fields, the first 4 years witnessed a one-billion diminution to 7 billion in the volume of space before surging and reaching its zenith at 22 billion in 2004 yet it ranked first albeit the remotely diminution in 2008 to 17 billion. Meanwhile, the investment for other fields which has the corresponding figure with the space receded to 5 billion before recovering to 7 billion in 2000 and collapsing again to 5 billion at the end of period.
In terms of remaining fields, there was a 1-billion disparity in the size of space and energy at first with the higher belonging to space at 6 billion. Moreover, the figure of these fields seem to be akin in the former half-period. While the space’s volume still leaped uninterruptedly to 9 billion, the energy’s one experienced a drastic oscillation somewhere between 5 and 7 billion and reached 6 billion in 2008. In the interim, the corresponding trend was recorded in the total expenditure of general science with the 3-to-5 vacillation before staying plateau in the last 8 years.
