It is apparent that the consumption of beef is the highest while the figure for fish is the lowest at the beginning of the period. However, there was an increase in chicken use and reached the highest in 2004, while fish consumption remained unchanged throughout the period.

There is a decrease in the consumption of beef and lamb between 1979 and 2004. The use of beef in a European country decreased by about 2 times, 225 grams to 100 grams per person per week. Similarly, the amount of lamb consumed in 1979 reached 150 grams, and this number declined significantly to about 52 grams, which was a three-fold decrease.

The figure in chicken use fluctuated with an upward tendency throughout 25 years. In 1979, chicken consumption was around 150 grams per person per week, while it reached a peak at 250 grams at the end of the period, which was increased by nearly 2 times. There was no change in the amount of fish used between 1979 and 2004, around 50 grams per person per week.
