The graph below shows the differences in wheat exports over three different areas. Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information shown below
The line chart illustrates the amount of wheat exported in three countries from 1985 to 1990.
Overall, it is apparent that wheat exports in Canada moved up and down irregularly while there was a gradual improvement in Australian market, and European Community experienced a decreasing trend over the 5-year period.
Commencing at 19 million tons in 1985 as the first place, the quantity of wheat sold overseas in Canada went down minimally before rocketing to its peak of 25 milion tons in the next two years. After that, the figure bottomed to 14 million tons and then went through a moderate improvement back to the initial amount.
Besides, in 1985, Australia exported approximately 17 million tons of wheat and in the following year the figure dropped by 3 million tons. The period of 1986-1990 witnessed a steady growth to 21 million tons, overtaking the figure for Canada. Whereas, the volume in European market rise slowly from 15 million tons to 16 million tons between 1985 and 1986. Then, there was a decline to e all time low of 11 milion tons over the next four years
