The graph given illustrates how many hours each teacher in four distinct nations spared for education in 2001.
It is clear from the graph that during the research period, upper secondary teachers were prone to spend more hours for teaching, compared to others. Additionally, all the figures for the USA were highest.
When it comes to how much hours spent by primary teachers , the number of the USA was highest, at around 800 hours, compared to 600 hours spent by Irish, Spanish and Japanese teachers. At the same time, American lower secondary teacher spent over 1000 hours teaching, whereas the figure for Ireland was insignificantly lower, at exactly 800 hours. By contrast, there were 600 hours spared by Spanish and Japanese teachers.
In terms of Upper secondary teachers, the quantity of the USA stood at approximately 1500 hours, which made it become the peak of the graph. In contrast, teachers in Spain and Ireland spared less hours than those in the USA, at nearly 1000 hours and 800 hours in turn, while the figure for Japan was nearly two times as low as that of the USA, at over 600 hours.
