The graph below shows the number of enquiries received by the Tourist Information Office in one city over a six-month period in 2011.
The line graph in the diagram is showing that the enquiries received by the Tourist Information Office, in person, got a steady rise throughout the period from the month January untill the month of June. In the first month, as mentioned in the graph as January, the inquiries received in person remained slightly higher than 400, that goes upto slightly lower than 2000 after 6 months.
On the contrary enquiries by letter/emails remained on decline. However, that decline was not that much steep down as the graph of in person enquiries was depicting going up. The enquiries by the mails/letters were stood at a bit lower than to 800 and after 6 months, the numbers were slightly lower to 400.
Telephonic enquiries, however, are showing a different trend comparitively to the email enquiries. These enquiries were highest in the beginning month. But on the later on months in person enquiries defeted in numbers to the telephonic enquiries. Further throughout the tenure, we observed a fluctuation in the telephonic enquiries graph that was lower than 1000 and in the end approaching to 1600 figure.
