Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

You should write at least 150 words

This bar chart illustrates the change in the trend of the number of people (in percentage) visiting the cinemas in a European country on the 7 different days in a week in the years 2003, 2005 and 2007.

Overall, it is evident from the graph that people go to the movies mostly on weekend days (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) and less frequently on a Monday.

It can be seen from the chart that in all the 3 years (2003, 2005 and 2007) most people preferred Saturday to watch a movie with 40% of the people in 2003, 45% in 2005 and approximately 42% in 2007. Whereas, in 2003, the least percentage of people (10%) went to the movies on a Monday.

Furthermore, in 2005, Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays were the least visited days with nearly 13% of the population going to the movies and in 2007, people visited the cinemas less on Wednesdays with only around 8% of the population. Moreover, an equal percentage of people (30%) tended to go to the movies in all three years on Fridays.
