The table depicts the number of people travelled for shopping, study ,work ,visiting friends and day tour by bus in the united kingdom from 2009 to 2011.
Overall, it can be clear from data that most of the people preferred bus as transport for shopping meanwhile leat popular medium going to study and work.
Though bus was favourite for shopping but it experienced fall through the three year in 2009 it stood at 65% and it become 51% in the year 2011.However, working individuals choice for bus shows sharply reduced and becomes nill apart from any other sector the amounted was 5%, 2%, 0% between 2009,2010 ,2011 respectfully.
On the other hand, both study and day tour parts increased 5 times than their initial . In the year 2009 proportion was 4% and 7% which become 9% and 12% due to job and education intention. After that percentage remain same in the year 2011 in both area . On the contrary, meeting with beloved ones they liked at same level in 2009 and 2010 which was 19% but the next year number arose 23%.
