Overall, there is a drastic increase in the population of India, exceeding the population of China. Furthermore, there is a steady increase in the population of China as well.

In the year 2000, while the population of India is around 1000 billion, the population of china was around 1250 billion. According to the graph, there is a sharp increase in the population of India, whereas the population of china increases modestly. The graph shows that the population of India will be equal to the population of china in the year 2030 at around 1450 billion.

This inclination of the population continues in India, and the graph illustrates that the population of India is foreseen to reach 1,600 million in the year 2050. However, there is a slight decrease in the population of china, the population of china shrinks from 1450 billion in the year 2030 to less than 1400 billion in the year 2040 and continues this trend until the year 2050, where the population is anticipated to be around 1400 billion.
