The graph shows the hours spent in different study methods during a two years course.

The line graph illustrates the number of weekly hours spent on three study methods: studying in library; with a tutor or lecturer and using the Internet during a two-year course.

At the first sight, we can see from the graph that studying by internet has dramatic increase in number of hours while the time in class with lecturers declined and time in library varied.

The most striking trend is that the hours of studying by internet increased significantly during 4 semesters of 2 years, especially between the first and second semester of each year. The figures grown from the beginning about 3 hours to over 10 by the end. By contrast, the hours spent on studying in class room or lecture situation decreased continually. The amount of time in this category was initially the highest at approximately 7 hours a week, but then the figure fell down during second year to finish at 5 hours.

Time in the library fluctuated throughout the period. It initially decreased from 4 to 3 hours after a semester of first year, then increased rapidly to 8 hours before once again declining to 6 hours at the end.
