Overall, it can be seen that amount of money spending in renewable energy sector in Spain and Denmark is increased sharply whereas in Switzerland and UK, it increased slightly. Further, Spain spend the highest amount of money on research in renewable energy sector among the four different countries shown in the chart.
Looking the data set that was escalated consistently in more details it is lucid that the money spent on research in Spain was about USD 0 in 1975. By 2000, it grew dramatically and reach USD6 per person, that was the highest value in the chart. Additionally, Denmark also follow the same trend, was starting from the same point of Switzerland, USD 0, and reaching 3.5 in 2000.
Turning the remain data set that was came down it is evident that USD 0 was spended in Switzerland on research in 1975. By 1980, it climbed up to $1, then again decrease to $0.5 in 1985. By 2000, it fell to $0.1. It was the lowest increase that was spent on research in the chart. UK also followed the similar trend, starting from $0 in 1975, it increased $1.1 in 1980 and dropped 0.6 in 2000.
