The graphs below show the numbers of male and female workers in 1975 and 1995 in several employment sectors of the Republic of Freedonia.
Write a report for a university teacher describing the information shown.
This two charts illustrates the count of the male and female employees in 6 different employement sectors of Republic of Freedonia in 1975 and
1995 respectively.
Overall, In 1975, number of male workers are higher than that of number of female workers in all the sectors. But, In 1995, the number of female employees in the field of wholesale and retail trade and communicate overheads the number of male employees. In other fields number of male employees are higher. Compartively, the total number of female employees increased from 1975 and 1995.
In commuication sector, In 1995, there is no significant difference in the number of male(300) and female(280) employees. But, In 1995, there was vast improvement in number of female employees in 1995(520) than that of male which was 300. The same scenario happened in wholesale and retail trade too the number of male workers(around 700) remains constant in both
1975 and 1995. But the number of female workers increased from 520 to 800 in 1975 and 1995 respectively.
On the other hand, In terms of manufacturing, In both 1975 and 1995, the number of male employees(680) is almost double that of number of females, which is only around 300. The same happened in public sector( non-defence ) the count of male(850) and female (650) employees almost remains the same in both 1975 and 1995. There is no increase in the
number of female employees.
In finance or banking, the number of female workers increased from around 120 to 480 in 1975 and 1995 respectively. But there is no significant increase in the number of male workers which around just 420 to 480 only. In public sector defence there is no major difference in the increase of count. The number of female workers reached from 20 to 100 in 1975 and 1995. The number of male workers just increased a 20 from 200 in 1975 and 1995.
