The map below shows the town of Lynnfield in 1936 and then later in 2007.
The two presented maps elucidate the changes of Lynnfield between 1936 and 2007.
Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the town had been developed considerably over the period with a lot of amenities had been built.
In 1936, the butchers had been constructed at the top right corner of the center of the town, and right next to it was the sweet shop which sited next to the post office. Whereas the location of the sweet shop and the butchers had been replaced to the supermarket during 2007, the post office position still remained stable in the same period. The shopping center has been established right in the center of Lynnfield in 2007 while it was just a vacant lot in 1936. At the bottom of Lynnfield’s center, the bank and the library were still stayed unchanged over the period and the flower shop in 1936 has demolished and then create the travel agent in the same location during 2007.
The town had a total of three trees in the Northwest in 1936 while it just had only one tree in 2007. The cycle path had been vanished and replaced by the road in the Southwest. During 1936, the town just had a river in the Northeast, compared to 2007 when the river location had been constructed to a residential area. The government offices and the farmland had changed into the museum and the golf course respectively over the period.
