the maps show changes between 1960 and now in the station street
The given maps illustrate the development that occurred in the Street Station, over a six-decade period from 1960 to now. Overall, what stands out from the graph is that the station has been completely changed, except for Dry cleaner’s in the southeast corner that has remained stable over the period.
In particular, the first noticeable change that could be seen is the fact that in the Northern of the station, a row of stores in the year 1960 have transformed into three buildings, particularly Parking, Super Market and a coffee shop.
On the opposite side of Station Street, the grocery, situated in the southwest of the map, has been demolished to make way for the construction of Hotel. Besides, public telephones and railway station in 1960 have been replaced with new railway station. Noticeably, itcan be seen that the only place that has been untouched is Dry cleaner’s located in the southeast corner with no change done to it.
