the main reason behind the lead this degradation of land overgrazing in the whole world. most of the land 235 is affected in Europe and the leading cause is deforestation and North America 5% is less affected by deforestation in the 1990s.
Overall the world 35% land is degraded by over_grazing although 30% is caused by deforestation. 28% land affected by over-cultivation. these three reasons affect above 90% and only 7% affected by others.
In Europe, 9.8% of the land is affected by deforestation although North America is 0.2% affected by this. Oceania land also affected 1.7% by deforestation however with over-cultivation not effect this regions land. With over-cultivation, Europe is the most affected region With 7.7% land and the land of North America is 3.3% degradation. By overgrazing, Oceania affect most of the land 11% and NorthAmerica with least 1.5% land degradation
