The two pictures compare the layouts of a city in two periods, namely 1950 and the present time. It is clear that there are changes in the layout of this city over the period shown. The main modifications have included the expansion of residential area and the addition of many modern infrastructures.
Looking at the changes in more detail, we can see that in 1950 there was a residential area on the north side of a river running from the west to the east. Now, however, this residential area has been expanded to the other side of the river. In addition, the business district in the middle of the residential area has been erected.
At the present time, the lake with a dam has been built in the center of the map. Furthermore, The airport has been moved toward the east. Finally, The road and the government building in the north side have been constructed
