The plans below show a public park when it first opened in 1920 and the same park today.
The diagrams elucidate the changes that took place in a public park called Grange Park from 1920 to today.
Overall, it is conspicuous that the park was changed to provide some of the facilities such as cafe, parking and play area for the children.
According to the graph, the park was opened in 1920 with various establishments including a fountain in the middle of the park. In addition, there were two entrances, one was attached to Eldon Street and the other was located in front of Arnold Avenue. Glasshouse was on the right of the entrance nearby Eldon Street. Rose garden and pond for water plants were on the opposite side of the glasshouse. The stage where musicians can perform was on the left-hand side of the fountain. The stage was surrounded by seats and a rose garden.
After the renovation, the park has several recreational facilities now. The entrances are the same as the way they used to be. However, the fountain is replaced by the Rose garden, and the availability of seats is increased now. The water feature is in the replacement of the glasshouse and seats which were close to the glasshouse. The rose garden nearby the pond is overtaken by the cafe and in the place of Pond; the play area for children is developed. The most significant change is that the stage and its nearby seats and garden on the bottom side of the stage are removed and a new amphitheater for concerts is developed. However, the rose garden on the left of the Arnold Avenue entrance remained the same. The remarkable new change is that Underground Park is developed and the entrance of it is a nearby water feature.
