Spoken communication is more powerful than written communication To what extent do you agree or disagree

Essay topics:

Spoken communication is more powerful than written communication. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

In my opinion, the two means of communication are valuable in different situations. So, it is not true to say one of them is more powerful than the other one and their value depends on where we use them. Therefore, I completely disagree with the statement.
Firstly, spoken communication is changeable and parties can claim about precedent sentences because not only would be oral communication ambiguous and two-sided but also people may have wrong perception from speaking agreement. Therefore, all agreement and legislation are written by the legislator to avoid vague understanding. Additionally, intonation and voice affect the aim of sentences. For example, you can mime one sentence with different intense to show different meanings and this is the other way you may perceive wrong or other meaning.
Secondly, spoken and written communication complements each other and they are not necessarily have superiority. We use various means of communication in accordance with the situation and importance of truly delivering message. Take friendly communication as an example. It is much easier to speak with friends and show our love and kindness through oral communication than writing the letter with exactly the same effect. However, in the crucial position like the government, every words and rules must be written and documented for further references and be assured the last longer.
In conclusion, I disagree the superiority of spoken communication over written one and I believe they both have various usages which are help us to deliver our massage better.
