The table below shows expenditures on advertising of four car companies in the UK in 2002.
The table compares four different firms, namely Renault, Rover, Vauxhall, Cetirizine, in terms of the amount of money was spent on various forms of advertising in the UK in 2002.
Generally, Renault is the company that used the most money on advertising, while the quantity of cash expended in the marketing in Vauxhall and Cetirizine is equal. Besides, TV advertisements were by far the most popular advertising format, whilst the opposite was true for cinema advertising.
As can be seen from the table, in 2002, Cetirizine being the enterprise led in TV advertisements array, they allocated $70 million for that service while the figure for Rover is the least with $45 million. Ranked second and third are Vauxhall and Renault with $65 million and $59 million respectively. In contrast, cinema and outdoor advertising types are unpopular, the number of money that four companies invested in these two kinds of ads is less than $10 million.
About press advertising, Renault poured the most money, at $45 million, the second place was Rover with $38 million. The figures for Vauxhall and Cetirizine are $8 million and $12 million sequentially. It is also notable that expenditure on radio advertising by all car manufacturers was similar, at $15 million each.
